Service Description

AI, Integrity & Your Future is a high-impact workshop designed for Grades 9–12 that prepares students to navigate this reality with clarity, responsibility, and long-term thinking. This session moves beyond surface-level AI discussions and into the ethical, academic, and professional implications of AI use. Students begin by defining what AI actually is: a predictive model trained on human-created data. It does not think, hold values, or accept responsibility. It predicts. Humans decide . From that foundation, students explore real-world institutional systems that already use AI, including applicant tracking systems, scholarship screening tools, predictive analytics in education, and AI detection platforms . The message is clear: integrity is not abstract. It directly impacts opportunity. Through structured case studies, students analyze scenarios involving scholarship essays, AI-generated academic work, resume optimization, and college admissions filtering. Each scenario is evaluated using a five-part Ethical Evaluation Framework: • Academic Integrity • Skill Development • Accountability • Reputation • Long-Term Competence Students debate whether specific AI uses are acceptable assistance or integrity violations. They map immediate benefits against long-term consequences, examining how shortcuts today can weaken skills, damage credibility, and limit future opportunities. Grounded in Bloom’s higher-level thinking and cognitive development research , this workshop challenges students to move beyond memorization and into evaluation, analysis, and ethical reasoning. The experience culminates in students drafting their own Personal AI Code of Ethics — a written framework that defines their boundaries, accountability standards, and long-term goals. This document reinforces ownership and prepares students for the expectations of college, career, and professional life.
